Meet Our Dental Team Vancouver

Decades of Service Centered Around Patient Care

Our team at Salmon Creek Complete Dentistry includes multiple dental assistants and hygienists, many of whom have been with us for decades. Watching children turn into adults and bring their kids in for treatment is something we feel lucky to witness each day. This personalization and commitment to building relationships is imperative to the success of the practice, and it’s a component of patient care that we always invest wholeheartedly in. If you would like to learn more about us and why we’re passionate about what we do, read our bios below.

Jane, General Office Support

With over 40 years of experience in the dental field, Jane is an invaluable resource to our patients and team. One of the best parts of her job is working alongside a wonderful and cohesive team of coworkers and interacting with her friendly patients every day. She attended Central Michigan University and became a dental assistant with hands-on training, and today, she’s been at Salmon Creek Complete Dentistry for over a decade.

Whenever she isn’t at the office, you can find her traveling across the country with her husband, John, and the rest of her family, including her two daughters and son. She also enjoys gathering with friends, exercising, walking, reading, making jewelry, and trying new restaurants.

Morgan, Registered Dental Assistant

Morgan is our knowledgeable registered dental assistant with over two decades of experience. Her favorite part of her job is treating patients like family and working with the best dental team, who also feels like a part of her family! She attended Concorde Career Institute, where she earned her dental assistant training and education, and has also done various continuing and advanced education courses, including CDOCS (sedation), IV sedation, oral surgery, and implants courses. She’s also taken a CEREC mastery class.

Morgan has a teenage daughter and stepdaughter, as well as two dachshunds, named Oscar and Frank. In her free time, you can find her woodworking, hiking, traveling, eating at great restaurants, and spoiling her dogs. She also loves going to the Oregon sand dunes with her husband and kids on their RZR. An interesting fact about Morgan is that she loves taking photos and videos so much that she currently has almost 2,000 videos and 16,000 photos on her phone!

Christine, Registered Dental Assistant

Christine’s favorite part of her job is helping patients overcome anxiety and giving their smiles a new life with a full mouth restoration and with an exceptional and passionate team. Christine attended Clark College and Clark County Vocational Skills Center, where she earned her training and education to become a registered dental assistant. Over her 30 years in the dental field, she has also gained hands-on experience and continuing education in virtually every aspect and treatment of dentistry!

Christine and her husband have three grown children and three grandchildren, as well as their two year-old dog, River, who is a Red Heeler. Christine and her husband love inviting family over for meteorite campouts, bonfires, and barbecues. You can also find her crabbing, hunting, exploring nature, and watching football (Go hawks!). An interesting fact about Christine is that she doesn’t enjoy watching T.V. because she feels bad and has to look away whenever there’s a scene that’s embarrassing or humiliating for the character.

Julie, Registered Dental Hygienist

Julie has been at the practice for over 25 years and a registered dental hygienist for over 30. The best thing about being a dental hygienist to her is having the ability to make a positive impact on her patients’ oral and overall health. She loves building lasting relationships with her patients, educating them, and seeing direct results from her continuing care. A graduate of Clark College’s dental hygiene program, Julie has also completed countless hours of continuing education over the course of her long career and has taken the National Board Dental Hygiene Examination and Jurisdiction Examination.

Whenever she isn’t at the office, you can find her spending time with her husband, Steve, and her son and daughter, who are her greatest sources of happiness. She also enjoys fitness, hiking, traveling, taking photos, and going to sporting events (like Seattle Seahawks and Portland Trailblazers games!). She also has a green thumb and makes jewelry and crochets in her free time. An interesting fact about Julie is that she has traveled to 46 states and 20 different countries!
