Dental Crowns

Custom-made dental crowns are used to restore damaged or decayed teeth. Since these teeth can no longer support themselves, a crown can be secured in place, mimicking the look, feel, and function so that your smile works as it should, while also appearing completely natural. These restorations can be crafted using various materials; however, at our office, we use Emax, gold, and zirconia to deliver durable and beautiful results that can last a decade or more with proper care.

CEREC Same-Day Dental Crowns & Restorations

Normally, dental crowns require at least two appointments before treatment is complete. However, with CEREC technology, Dr. Kelly can produce a same-day restoration that comfortably fits over the entire tooth, delivering optimal protection as well as a beautiful aesthetic. Also referred to as a “cap,” a crown’s purpose is to minimize the potential for future reinfection or damage while also allowing the underlying tooth to be used normally to eat and speak.

Tooth-Colored Fillings

Cavities may be common among children, teens, and adults, but they still require timely treatment to avoid the potential spread of decay. With tooth-colored fillings, we can fill these areas with composite resin – a biocompatible solution that is malleable and capable of being color-matched to blend in with your existing teeth. We can quickly apply it in a single appointment, leaving you with a tooth that is less likely to experience sensitivity or break down over time – two potential risks that can occur with traditional amalgam.
